Autism Rocks (Fife) are looking for Volunteer Support Workers to help with the running of our services at Kaleidoscope. The centre is based in Buckhaven Parish Church Hall, Randolph Street, Buckhaven.
Volunteer Support Workers should be over 18, be committed and dependable. Experience of Autism, be it personal or professional, is preferred but not essential. The main duties are assisting in the day to day running of the centre, supporting our families, cleaning duties and general maintenance of the sensory garden and outside areas. Out-with the centre, Volunteer Support Workers will support us with fundraising activities, awareness sessions and our family sessions.
All our volunteers are required to be a member of the PVG Scheme and Autism Rocks will arrange this on appointment. Our operating hours are as follows: Tuesday 1030am till 1pm, Wednesday 1030am till 1pm, Thursday 1030am till 1pm, and our youth group from 530pm till 7pm, Friday 6pm till 8pm, Saturday 10am till 1pm. Any time that you can offer would be very much appreciated.
